Editorial Policy

SEA Art Wire combines automated discovery with curated source lists and editorial correction mechanisms.

Selection criteria

An item should concern art in, from or materially connected to one or more Southeast Asian countries. The system evaluates titles, summaries, source context and geographic references. Specialist art sources are prioritised, while general media are included when their reporting is relevant.

Automation and human review

Collection, language detection, categorisation, image extraction and some relevance decisions are automated. Automated systems can make mistakes. Readers and publishers may report an incorrect item from the article card, and SAR may correct, recategorise or remove it.

Languages and translation

Original languages are preserved. Machine-generated English translations are provided for convenience and may contain errors or lose nuance. The original article remains authoritative.

Independence

Inclusion does not imply endorsement by SEA Art Wire or SAR Museum of Cambodian Modern Art. Rankings are chronological and relevance-based, not paid placement. Sponsored inclusion is not currently offered.
